I must say, it’s truly amazing how much the site has progressed since I switched over from Etomite (which was going nowhere fast at the time). I <3 the community here, which has fixed a lot of issues I’ve encountered in the past.

I’m really looking forward to see what 0.9.7 brings to the table. ^.^

Your site is looking good. Some nice improvements/progressions from the last time I saw it. Much clearer and more colorful header for example. Just imagine how it will be by next year shocked

I wish I could go back and redo some of my first MODx sites, they seem like a total mess when I think of all that I have picked up along the way. It is a great place to be...this modx world rocks.

That’s a huge improvement from the last version! Well done. Whatever is feeding those ads in can slow things down a lot though.

I’m not completely in control of that (it’s a tradeoff for getting essentially free hosting and hits coming in from Gamespy/IGN), but if you can give me the time it took, along w/ your browser (name & version), I can let the Ad team know about it.

I’ve been there a while, plus I have connections to people who are "higher-ups" in the ladder, so I should be able to let them know if there was an issue w/ a specific ad or ads.

(Like one time, there was an ad that wouldn’t allow you to *close* it. I told them about it, and it got removed pretty quickly.)

EDIT: On a side note, I really do need to clean up the HTML/CSS one of these days. tongue It’s using a combination table/DIV-based layout, which works, but a purely-DIV layer layout would probably optimize the speed, I’d imagine.
