      It’s quite nice, congrats !

The flash banner on the top right border is bright idea and well done aside from one thing : it keeps moving while idle and it’s a distraction which is not good IMHO. Might even become annoying (keep the hover effect but definitely drop the idle movement).

Other than that, I find navigation pretty straightforward which is good. I’d increase the height of the menu items, it’s the main menu it should be granted more space, plus it will be more "clickable" with a bigger area.

Another small things which would (IMHO) improve readability : increase the left padding on the main content area, I find it disturbingly too close to the left column...

Same goes for the bottom padding of the left column (too close to the footer).

The website is working fine on FF 2.0.0.12 / Mac and latest Safari

Sweet, very nice. I like the flash ’ear’ mark.

Very nice. I agree 100% with David on the idle movement. I think that you should have the movement run for no more than 15 seconds. I will say though that it does qualify as mystery-meat navigation--an actionable item with no indication of result from its appearance or name. This was and is still considered a bit of a usability no-no. Sure it looks cool but will anyone click?

One other observation. The contrast on the nav links with the blue background on my el cheapo acer notebook is low and makes the linktext hard to read.

          Cheers,

Because of the big font-size you should increase the line-height for better reading.
And give a background to the tag cloud (it’s not ready yet isn’t it? grin)

            All in all: well done,

Thanks all for your comments will take them all on board.
This site is still work in progress so tag cloud background will be added soon.
The page peel has had quite a few clicks believe it or not, it’s not something I made so I don’t have any control over the movement but I am considering only applying it to certain pages so not to distract. But it is something that customers do remember.
Here’s a link if anyone would like it (only prob it’s in German!) http://www.peel-it.de/
I had to do some minor translation (with the help of Google).
Once again thanks for the constructive advise will be busy adjusting!!
