I am a web designer, with a small home business. I was considering investing in a for$$ setup sort of like MODx so customers can do changes in their text themselves ... then someone told me about MODx. I’m glad I held off.
I’m just beginning to learn MODx but have successfully changed one of my customer’s sites (small, 6 pages) to a MODx site. I have yet to get into all the features but already am wildly enthusiastic! Woo!!
So easy, and this trial site was just putting in a few MODx tags to make my own template. I realize there are many vistas (sorry, had to use that term) out there yet for me to explore... but my trial modx site looks *just* like the actual site, but now the customer can do his own updating... I’d post a link but haven’t done this for "real" -- (can you install MODx at godaddy??? bleh... )
Anyway... hi and looking forward to learning lots more here.
