Another First MODx site

    Hi,

    This is my first MODx site, the client is happy, so so am I... and now I’m working on 3 more MODx sites because of it. Thanks for all the answers to questions in the forums and especially to those guys and girls who write some awesome snippets and plug-ins that make me look like I know what i’m doing! wink

        I agree... very nice, clean, & corporate looking (in this case, a good thing.)

        I like the web-cams...  neat feature.  (And that winter weather sure helps me remember why I moved to Vancouver Island...)

        If I had one criticism, it would be in regards to the background colors you used for the main-nav "tabset" menu.  It’s like they’re a little different then I would expect them to be.

        What I mean is, when I’m looking at, say, the Image Gallery page, I would expect that the background color of the Image Gallery tab matches the background color of the content section.  I think this would help connect the current page with the current tab.  You’d have to change the background color of the tabset links a bit, but I think it might look a bit more cohesive.  For example: see the 1st graphic here: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/slidingdoors/.  The News tab in that graphic has the same background color as the page while the other (not "current") tabs have a slightly darker graphic.

        But that’s just my $0.02.

              Thanks for the feedback, and I agree with you, but too late now, oh well... probably just an oversight that you have when the client asks to see this navigation style with that background color but this font size in that color with the picture from that page on this one. rolleyes
