Hello from Rene Kreijveld

Hello all,

Here is my short introduction. My name is René Kreijveld, and I found ModX some time ago.
I run an Internet company called One-Company, together with a colleague. We’ve built quit some websites for small and large clients, mainly using Joomla. We’re also looking a ModX and TypoLight.

I became interested in ModX due to the limitations I saw in Joomla, and until now I’m really impressed about the possibilities!

I have my own little ModX playgarden: http://www.modx-company.nl.
I am just learning how to setup templates and I also wrote my first small snippet (a Whois checker that is).

On the personal side: I am married, have 2 kids. About a year ago I switched from Windows to Mac and now I work on a MacBook Pro and a MacMini. No regrets
I live and work in The Netherlands.

I hope to learn a lot here. If possible I’d like to give something back to the community too, just as I do in the Joomla community.

Hello. Nice site. Just curious how much requests you get for MODx work as compared to Joomla work? It wouls make sense to have more Joomla requests but you never know.

Because we do more Joomla we get more Joomla requests.
But most of our clients just want a working content management based solution and some of these requests could have been built with ModX,
ModX is still to new for us to implement client sites based on ModX.

That is what I figured. As MODx gets more media the requests should grow. Thanks.
