My on going projex

Hey folks, I thought it would be a great time to show you what I have achieved making and with the help of modx making it better. I have several sites I want to post but all are my own work... I skinned my smf forum to look exactly like my main site which I think looks pretty seamless.

First is intro.... which isn’t really that impressive....

2 sites

You can use the naviagtion to see what I managed to do with my forum.

that’s 2 gaming sites I made. I run the site and the forum has about 1100 people which isn’t bad for a gaming community. I’ve made a private area on this site using the modx registration but wish I could get the smf integration working then this would be so much better.

My other site is what I hope to get off the ground... i’m a full time student and I’m hoping to start a very small design company up so I can get through my degree. (just started it here in scotland)

On this site you will see a manu at the top left that has a few other themes and idea I came up with.

Still a lot of work to be done but it’s getting there. Anyway let me know what you think. THANK! Ross

The ERR-Clan sites are cool, very ’game site’ look and feel. In the cod4 site there is a place where the text is in green and is a bit hard to read on top of the olive background, maybe increase the contrast. Good job with skinning the forum, just need to get the site menu included to make it even more seamless.

In the design site I find the thumbnails in the menu interesting. There are a few bugs, for example the top menu disappears when the menu flies out (I am on FF/OSX). I like the transparency in the bottom of the main body.

Yeah they do fit the gaming theme... only took me a couple hours to make the skins in PS and build the basic site.

I’m having a bit trouble being able to put my java manu in to the smf forum for some reason. It just doesn’t want to show up.

I changed the green text to something with more contrast now. DarkSeaGreen! LOL

As for the bug in the slide menu, i don’t see any problems with ff, ie6, ie7 opera and safari on my ipod touch lol... i’ll keep an eye on it though.

Thanks for the comments... appreciated.
