    Hi everyone,

This is an annoucement for a new site for a french Art Gallery in Paris (in French). It is about one of the sculptor they are expert in :

    http://www.louis-leygue.fr

This site was entirely built with MODx Framework.

The main snippets used are :

    - Wayfinder
    - eForm
    - MaxiGallery
    - ListSiteMap
    - MetaTags

    and GoogleAnalytics plugin.

Thanks to MODx Framework outstanding versatility and structure. I never met any particular difficulty building the site. For each feature I used either one of the ready made snippets either I did a minor modification of one existing feature. The design side entirely relies on an HTML template and CSS.

MODx CMF is a versatile, rigourous and open Framework.

The W3C compliancy is not a joke. The site - http://www.louis-leygue.fr - was XHTML 1.0 Transitional validated with much ease.

Thanks to all the team and the forum members (french and others) for their help during the development process !

Very nice!. I like the look of your pages.

      A couple of IE6 notes:

Your site looks a lot nicer in FireFox than IE6.

In IE6, your drop-down menu doesn’t work (you can’t click on the dropped-down items) and the top and bottom menus are a little crowded (no space between the separators and the longer menu items).

The font-size is also much larger in IE6 but that may be my browser setting rather than your code.

        Hi Pascal smiley

Nice work indeed, simple and sound as I like them.
The only thing I didn’t care for that much is the capitalized text...

No issues with Safari 3.0.4 / OS X Leopard by the way, and all is well with FF 2.0.0.11 / Mac too.

[tt]PS : Don’t forget to post this one on the sibling french forum "Vos sites" wink[/tt]
