Nice site and some cool 3D images. Well done with the tags.
The tags were done in Ditto, right?
Yes, these are Ditto tags. I used tagCloud for the menu at the right.
killroy,
you may want to use the sliding door technique for the menu images. there is a slight flicker at first when rolling over the links. not a big deal though and i really like the images and design youve created.

I think I know where the flicker comes from. The images called by the css are not loaded at the same time as the page and are not in the cache when you first visit the website.
I may add an onload event to solve this.
The sliding doors technique would be interesting especially if I end up adding one more item in the top menu, but would it be possible to apply the rollover effect on three images instead of one?
kilroy,
The best thing about sliding doors is it minimizes HTTP requests on page load. I used to create hidden divs that preloaded the images (not the best but reduced flicker).
I’m starting to create my mini-icons in one image and changing their position since most latency occurs with multiple http requests (similar to using php to compile all js and css in one file)
