It took longer than expected... The goal was to relaunch the german site for MODx which was originally started a year ago. Due to the success of convincing my customers to use MODx (not Joomla...) I hadn´t time to care about the site a long time. Now, with more and more potential users calling, I decided to take a break and redesign the site and prepare for more german information. Problem is that most of them are too lazy to read english, so I try to put the information together. It´s a kind of blog with download-hints, tutorials and translations where registered users are invited to share their news (news providing is prepared not finished yet). But what I wanted to achieve was an integration of the sexiest forum on the web - Vanilla. I got it working now with a one way-user-syncronization -> web users in the MODx system are users in vanilla, with one login and registration. There is a lot to do to get a real integration, Sirlancelot did a very well work (see here, I hope with the new APi in 0.97 he can work on (I´m not a coder but learning wink ).

I also hope the "CD" of MODx is remaining green wink

Just take a look at MODx deutsch, lot of things missing (contact, sitemap), but it´s growing wink

This looks plain awesome, a real design revolution when compared to the former look! (Although that wasn’t all bad either wink)
And for the additional information you are putting on the site: I think it is just so important to have a good documentation flowing from a single source (nothing against the wiki, but information are naturally too scattered, and sometimes not up to date). I guess you can have the best snippet or CMS out there, but without proper documentation for the not so tech-savvies you might end up having 10 people only actually using it. Add proper documentation with lots of examples for calls of standard snippets and you`ll soon have 10.000! laugh
So please, go ahead with this work!

I really like the design and setup.

Very well done indeed...I particularly like the rollOver effect of the secondary menu.

The template of the site is very good.
Is it free? If yes, where can I find it?
