THis is meant to show what MODX can do, I’ll be adding more features, but let me know what you think?

"...hundreds of developers..."? Tens maybe...
I like the positioning though, (relating to the partnering with the client to design and administer the codey stuff.
From a marketing POV, I would really make your business model more apparent. It will build far more trust than the sort of beating around the bush approach--having the "Hey, Why are they doing this for free? What’s the catch?". I would mention your model on the front page like, "We set it up, we make it pretty, you manage it yourself, and we’re here to help when you need us" (That’s yours if you want it)
Cheers,

anyone that contributes is a "developer" in my mind... and it just sounds better.
This site is not yet really public, it’s being built, but I put it here for the criticism, so thanks!
And honestly, I’m not sure how I want to market it quite yet, I have a few clients that could care less what it runs on, many people want a website and want us to keep it updated, and others want the control and freedom.
Frankly, I don’t think it’s such a good idea. Do you have some security/maintenance method, e.g. reload default content + pages every hour? Why only content-admin user-rights in the demo? I am not even allowed to upload JPGs for a slideshow -> too restrictive, imo. That only shows a small part of the possibilities that modx offers and some people might get a wrong picture. Why not use SEO-friendly URLs in the demo when you specifically stress that as a selling point? You still use the default index.php?id=123 URLs.
The official demo @ opensourcecms may not be perfect, but it shows the possibilities / features much better than your own demo.
again, not finished. I need to have my admin do some trickery to get friendly URLS working in a subdomain, at that time we will institute image refreshing every hour as well, give admin access, I don’t want to give admin access until I get it the way I want to present it, again it’s not done yet. However, again I appreciate your criticism, keep it coming.
http://wavestatic.com friendly URLS there, and every other site we use this system on.
Ok I think I fixed that part for uploading items to the slide show, hey, and be nice with my {{list_docs}}
