Nicole Kidd Jewelry Design

Hello Everyone!

I’m new to ModX and just did my first site with it - http://www.nicolekidd.com/

I really enjoyed working with ModX and hope to learn much more about it for use in future projects. If only it had a sitewide find and replace! I could really use that right now ...

Cheers,
Mani

Nice site, and colours.

In reference to the site wide find and replace, have you thought about backing up the database and doing a find and replace in the SQL query it generates?

Good luck!
Taff

Excellent design.

Thanks for sharing.

Good call Taff.

Love the design of the site Mahnie. Very elegant. What was the inspiration for the design? It it an "India" theme. The colors are very oceanic.

On the other hand, even on my 5Mbps line, the graphic intense layout took quite a few seconds to load all the images.

Nice site, i like the design.

Thanks for the kind words, all. Great suggestion about the database F&R ... if only I was SQL capable in any way. ;~)

Dr. Scotty - yes, the design certainly is graphic intensive isn’t it! I know it can take a bit to load, but the client is THRILLED. She really loves Moroccan windows and doors and things like that. So that was the original inspiration.

Mani
