    Hey everyone. I just converted a site to MODx. The original site is still up and is located here:

    http://www.blueskyvineyard.com

    The MODx version resides at:

    http://dev.blueskyvineyard.com

    I plan on moving it from development to the live site sometime later today. Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated.

    This site utilizes MaxiGallery, Ditto (All over the place), eForm, Sitemap, SEO Strict, Google Analytics, Breadcrumbs, Wayfinder, and I am sure much much more!

    Oh...and the store is still running on an old osCommerce install. I will probably be interested in outsourcing the conversion of it to MODxCart of ShopX. It is rather small and has a few key requirements if anyone is interested (Looks in the direction of Pixelchutes and Zap).

    Thanks again to the whole MODx team for such a wonderful piece of code.

    Jesse

      Looks nice. However, did you notice in your wine selection page (http://dev.blueskyvineyard.com/wine-selection) the headers are much too light in Firefox? In IE, they’re blue, in FF they’re light gray... not enough contrast to the white background, imo. Feature or bug? smiley

        Are you talking about the names of the Wines? They look blue to me in both browsers, however, they do go to color that has low contrast after they have been visited. Think that should change?

          Well, at your homepage...the wine picture’s reflection seems cut-off at the bottom. Anyway, the rest seems okay to me.

            Great looking site.

            How did you go about making the nice intro text dropdowns in the wine section?

            I love the effect.

            Regards

              I use jQuery to accomplish that. I basically make a ditto call with this chunk as the template:

              <h4>
              <a href="#" onClick="$('#wine[+id+]').SlideToggleUp(500, null, 'bounceout');return false;" title="[+title+]">[+title+]</a>
              </h4>
              <div id="wine[+id+]" class="hideme">
              <p>[+summary+] <a href="[~[+id+]~]" title="[+title+]">More Details...</a></p>
              </div>

              On the same page with the ditto call, I created a snippet called [!jquery!] that basically loaded the javascript files:

              <?php
              $modx->regClientStartupScript("assets/js/jquery.js");
              $modx->regClientStartupScript("assets/js/iutil.js");
              $modx->regClientStartupScript("assets/js/ifx.js");
              $modx->regClientStartupScript("assets/js/ifxslide.js");
              $modx->regClientStartupScript("assets/js/hide.js");
              ?>

              All the files besides "hide.js" can be downloaded at jquery.com. "hide.js" contains the following code:

               $(document).ready(function() {
                 $("div.hideme").hide();
               });

              That should do it.
