Thanks to everyone for all of the great work. I’ve just begun using MODx and feel really comfortable with it. (I’ve used Joomla! in the past - too big and cumbersome). My first site is one of my personal sites which includes a journal and sections of a book I’m writing.

MODx 9.5, Ditto, Wayfinder, ListIndexer, etc. I’m a designer, not a programmer. Even so, this was quite simple.

The second site was for a client that wants to add a News section down the road.

Your personal site looks nice in a good browser, but I would really do something about the weird stuff that happens in IE. Be realistic: No one’s gonna switch to another browser because of one website - regardless of how many reasons there are to do so...

Minor things I noticed: "contact us" -> Why "us", not "me"?

When a menu is opened with sub-pages, the last link in that menu shouldn’t have a line, because it almost touches the next one below. That’s really just a visual thing though, it seems not necessary.

In the first site in journal page, the blog items are sorted by date, but in the menu, they are sorted by menu index (?) and are in different order. That was a bit confusing. Really nice looking site though!

The second one I didn’t like so much.
