Just launched a new site: http://www.ilmaisohjelmat.fi

Best freeware and open source applications sorted, reviewed and packaged as bigger compilations - for example "beginners basic applications for home use" (http://www.ilmaisohjelmat.fi/aloittelijan-perusohjelmat-kotikayttoon). Sorry, it’s finnish content only. Though I think it would be very usefull for many of you non-finnish talkers too.

Yea, great site Lammikko! I like the clean look of it and good use of color and fonts etc.. They make me want to stay a while and not just quickly glance over.

What did you use for that "memo list" feature? Is there maybe shopx someway involved?

For those who do not understand Finnish and want to see what I’m talking about, go to: http://www.ilmaisohjelmat.fi/7-zip and click "Lisää muistilistaan". That will add the program to the "Muistilista" block what is right under side navigation at right hand side. You can edit your memo list by selecting "Muokkaa muistilistaa" from that block after you have added something. The note in the "Muokkaa muistilistaa" page says that it uses cookies to store the list values, so it will only work if you have cookies enabled and are using same computer/browser..

Anyways, nice looking site Lammikko! Good job!

EDIT: I would suggest though that you do some layouting on the program descriptions so that these fields will be aligned in "columns" like so:

Ilmainen kotikäytössä: kyllä
Ilmainen yrityksille: kyllä
Ilmainen muille: kyllä

Suomenkielinen: kyllä

Memo feature is actually a custom solution. Not very slick but still effective. It would need some tuning and tidying to become reusable. Maybe I’ll do it later if I find some time.

Can’t say more than "lovely", I like the clean looks of the pages, and even though I can’t understand a word of what’s written it looks pretty well constructed and easy useable, great job!
