I upgraded my template showcase http://www.loripsum.co.uk to the latest SVN 1733 (as of this morning, anyway), and now the template switcher is working again. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to add a few more templates to the showcase in a few days.

So far my favorite is the Black Velvet template, by Zi. Although I am also fond of Greenery; I’ve made two variations of it, Valentine and Autumn Bounty. It’s great for themed or seasonal templates.

I really like the version of ’Greenery’ you’re using - didn’t see it before yet, I’ve been using the green one for quite some time -, though I’d suggest choosing a different font color for the text, white on light green is difficult to read, especially for those with a lower contrast monitor. Besides that one I’d also suggest you to change the border color of the Contact Us box, doesn’t really fit in right now wink

I must say I also like the ’demo’ skins you’ve got, still somewhat hoping more skins will be viewable on sites like this one as its really making the choise of a skin easier, sadly I guess it’s not too easy to realise due to the heavy modifications you can easely make with MODx wink

Light green? I know my laptop screen isn’t exactly like a CRT, but it’s suppsed to be a medium gold color.

For both the Valentine and the Autumn Bounty templates I just used GraphicsConverter and fiddled with the Brightness/Contrast sliders until I got something I liked, then used the same values for all of the images used. Of course, making the center image wasn’t so easy, but it’s a nice effect. One of my favorite templates.

You’re right, its not light green indeed, I viewed the page on my (way old) Dell laptop, it was actually green there wink Looks better on my desktop, though still I’d suggest to get a bit more contrast in it - the choise is, of course, up to you.
