Liking what I see

Stumbled upon MODx the other day and I’m impressed! I look forward to learning the system and figuring out how I can contribute. I’m no programmer (at least not yet) but all my years running prepress art production should be helpful somewhere. I’m ready to dive into it deeper just as soon as I get past this FURL / ht.access stuff ... I can set up and run a million dollar art department, but I’m lost looking at a .htaccess file. :’(

You have to provide more information... what goes wrong/what don´t you understand? Don´t worry, I bet 98% of all users don´t understand a .htaccess, but if it works... it works

Yup, I’m a Scandinavian with FURL / .htaccess problems My details can be found in another thread at Forums/Suport/General Suport/Getting Friendly URL’s to work. Try this link http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,4700.msg44128.html#msg44128. Any help to resolve my initial problems would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the welcomes and the help I recieved for the FURLs problem. It all works now thanks to switching plain text editors. Never had that problem before.
