folks,
thought i’d share my first attempt at a modx site. i had some great help from peeps here learning about how modx works to iron out some user errors (ie my errors). the site is functional and now i have to build it out beyond the basic testing pages, test comments, etc. also have one CSS issue to resolve: why the content shadows fill the page height in IE but not Firefox. comments & suggestions are most welcome:

The RSS link in your page footer and your html header are pointing to the wrong pages. You need to either change the ID to the right ID, or just hardwire the link (which I actually suggest is best, as that way you can give it the alias of feed.rss and refer to it as feed.rss rather than feed.rss.html). Or feed.xml - whatever you prefer.
Other than that, it seems fine.
thanks for the compliment and the rss help. that was something i wasn’t sure about, so i searched the forums and found a post that mentioned using a page id for the rss. i don’t know how to set that up as it is, so that’s another item on the to-do list.
