I have it set so when each manager logs in that they are directed to their own information page that they can edit. Is there a way to force a logout of a manager when they navigate from their own page. That way I can keep managers a way from accidentally entering the back end of any other page while logged in.

If only permissions could be set in create/edit user that could allow a manager control over only the page they are logged into it would work perfectly. The pages that they edit will be for public view.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You can write a snippet to see who is logged in and which page he/she is on, and force them to resend to their own page no matter what url they put in the address bar.

When logged out, they can see whole website.

This sounds great but I’m a Newb to this and have no idea how to even get this started, let alone to work.

You can prevent a manager user from accessing the Manager at all, no matter what they put in the browser address bar.

In his "User" tab, there is a radio button for "Manager Interface Access". Just set it to No, and he can’t get into the Manager.

You can also disable the QuickManager on specified documents based on roles.

Hey, why that setting wouldn’t control visibility of [Manager] button in QM+?

I know, but that is a system-wide setting.

what’s that setting actually used for? if the manager user gets redirected to the frontend, QM shows up, but he can’t edit anything, right?

Thank you everyone for your advice.
I do Have the Manager button toggled off in QM.
And if I turn on the radio button for "Manager Interface Access they can’t even edit the page they are supposed to have control over. When the Manager clicks the Edit Resource button with this toggled off to quote sharkbait > "if the manager user gets redirected to the frontend, QM shows up, but he can’t edit anything, right?" < This has been my experience with the Manager button toggled off. So what is it used for or do you need something else working in combination with this setting to have it work as expected?

And my expectation would be they would be able to edit the page they are assigned to and directed to on login but not another page could they edit.

Also I have turned off every possible option and hidden all tabs, this works great. But they could still enter the route site files if they remain logged in and they navigate away from their page to a page that they are not supposed to have edit power over.
