Whats up all,
I wanted to stop in here and introduce myself. On other forums I am known as ChuckTrukk. I have used my company name here (with its TemplateMonster design- Ill change it one day, I promise...).
I came to MODx after first trying out PHPNuke a few years ago. Since that horrible experience, Mambo/Joomla has been my preferred development platform for the past two years. We are waiting for the 2.0 release of Joomla that will accomplish what MODx seems to have now (ACL, Template Variables, SEF, Node-based Scheme).
I am excited to figure this out and create some powerful apps with it. I read through the Documents and am going through the "Setup your Blog" Tutorial now, but I am still a bit confused. You will probably see me asking a bunch of questions over the next few months
I was recommended to MODx by some other programmers and developers. It looks like it may be a great recommendation.
Chuck
