I was introduced to MODx on another forum, in search of a basic CMS that’s not to feature packed. MODx seems to be just what I was looking for....

The good thing about MODx is that it allows to get going really quickly but is also expandable - so it will accomodate your learning curve as you explore what the system can do.

I really just needed the shell, as I want to make my website development a bit easier I don’t want to reinvent the wheel, so having a "shell" whe the basics like user authentication, templating, dynamic menu’s, RSS, SEF, etc etc is what I wanted, but with the flexibility of still writing my own code and adding it quickly to the site, which MODx does very well. And it’s AJAX! I haven’t done anything with AJAX yet, but what I’ve seen is awesome. Keep it up And if you need beta testers, or part-time / co-developer, just let me know
