Hi All, or as we say here Moin,

I got my personal Site online using ModX. It took me some time to get used to, but I think I finally got the hang of it. The design is a rework of the original design that comes with modx, with slightly modified layout and colors. The design has been testet in IE 6, Firefox, Safari. there is still a lot of work to do for me:

    • Menu’s with Submenu’s ( especially for the projects interesting )
    • Change the News/Blog to use Categories ( can’t seem to get that working right )
    • A picture galery
    • And of course put some interesting content into it ;-)

Let me know what you think.

    Patrick

Thanks for the great responses smiley

It took me quiet a while to get the design working in IE ( this browser sure is a pest wink ). The design is loosely based on the simplebits sites design ( 5 rows, two col in content area ).

I also have a custom split menu setup ( on top the main menu and on the right hand side the sub menu with changing titles ). The changing titles are a hack of the ultimate parent snipped. I am just writing a tutorial how I did the split menu setup when I get it done I will translate it in english and maybe it can be postet here somewhere, it seems a lot of people are looking for something like that.
