My friend has a design studio called 1-vision he wanted to have a new site so he designed it and I converted the psd to modx.

    here it is http://www.1-vision.nl

    I’v used lots of snipets
for the menu on the left I used an imagemenu snippet cause he wanted to use a font that is not standardin IE or FF
I used UltimateParent for the heading above the 2nd menu like this <img src="assets/images/titel-[[UltimateParent]].png">
I used listglobal togetter with the ultimatparent snippet for the 2nd menu and I used ListChildOrSibs sometimes for the 2nd menu
in portfolio I used ListRelated to make a list of other works made for the same client and I used ListChildOrSibs below the information to list all the other logo’s etc that he made.
I justed a adapted version of prev-next snippet to make it posible to browse tru the other designs

I use the png alpha plugin for semitransparent fades etc (lots of png use on this site)
I used eform snippet for the mail form

I still want the newslisting to generate the items on the homepage but i never used it so ifor now its a chunk that shows the items on the homepage.

I used javascirpt for the marquee that holds the menu at the bottom, and I use javascript and css to show and hide the information below the designs.

    I think thats it

That’s beautiful Dimmy! Great work again...and another example of the ability of MODx to adapt to any design.

Did you take the modx version offline or why does it say

macmike, nothing prevents someone to build MODx templates with GoLive or Dreamweaver or NVU tongue
Just copy and paste and voilà !

About the website now : looking great !

The only things I’d change would be the menu items on the left : too small to my taste, I’d up the size... maybe even switch to text/css links instead of images for accessiblity concerns (can’t change the font size...).

Also, I’d style the links on the right differently (tweak or suppress the underline, definitely change the color to something like #FFFFCC (light yellow) with a white hover color...

Other than that, congrats, I love the design and particularly the "à la ZenGarden" transparencies grin
