Hi,
I opened today the ’under construction’ webpage of my company’s website. It’s gonna be powered by MODx and scriptaculous and will be in two language : first french then english (I mostly work in my region, and we’re all french speaking here!).
Any comments are welcome!

Think you must be working on it, I get a MODx parse error...
Otherwise, nice logo indeed... I am not a big fan of flash animation, will there be a cookie to skip that when you come back to the site a second time ? Dumb me, it’s an ajax effect...

Okay there, I look stupid and I stand corrected, made an incorrect assumption here

, I see the script now !

I see the Flash animation, but pages in the navigation are blank. Is that intentional or is this another site being hit by the blank page bug?!?!? If it’s the bug, get it touch with me so I can have you try some things... I’ve been waiting for someone else to have this issue so they could try some things...

I could be totally wrong.
Odd, I get a site with no template....
Oops... forgot to put the site unavailable again! Sorry guys! it’s still under construction... Waiting after a snippet made by scotty delicious to build my menu with Lightbox-Gone-Wild (from particle tree). The content is not complete yet. Also for the parser bug, i sent a ticket about it : just reload and it should be fixed...
I’ll tell you when it’s completed and i’m going to put it unavailable right away!

Just to be picky, that’s not AJAX, it’s DHTML. Ajax involves requests for data or processing from the remote server. But I suppose I might as well get used to it, in the same way as "conferencing" and "referencing" now only get a slight, resigned sigh whenever I see it.
AJAX is also used as a generic word used to describe all that "web 2.0" thing... Even if its Asynchronous Javascript and XML.... anyway, most of the time, people now use JSON instead of XML, so it’s not Ajax anyway
