This forum sucks (quite a lot)

Just moved from Etomite to ModX as it happens to offer some real useful features.
One thing that could, or should, have stopped me from doing so is the high ratio of plain rubbish in this forum.
Why isn’t there at least a clean listing of downloadable snippets???

Although there is sometimes extra chatter that isn’t required, it is what you get when you have a very active "community" forum where people feel comfortable discussing things and sharing ideas. (PS you probably wont want to go to the IRC channel then)

Of course you are now aware there is place where all the snippets are stored if you don’t want to worry about the various discussions, tips and learning opportunities. You can also get to it by clicking on "Resources" button at the top of the page

You could use the etomite snippet most of them work in MODx (for now).

When I read this post title I just thought it was a funny joke of some kind and it was just aimed at attracting attention... I was smiling in advance at the joke, and then when I saw your message it just struck me as totally out of place (yet funny in a different kind of way). It made me smile, but a sad smile...

Yeah well, I guess we can’t make everyone happy here, though many seem to be... the thing is, before making a definitive judgment, stick around... On top of MODx being a great system to work with, there are lots of talented, dedicated, friendly and fun people ! I hope you change your mind

Anyway, you’ll find out that support is fast, friendly and efficient around here, should you ever have a question about something MODx related...

Well, Criticism is great!, if its constructive, else well I guess your just adding more rubbish.

There is always some things that could be improved with any system. Different ways of doing things etc, well got to start somewhere.
