I just uploaded the first version of the (I hope in the future) well frequented german modx site. It´s under construction, but I have to put something online to get first testers.
So guys, please take a look. It´s a flexible CSS based layout (flexible between 770 and 950 px, wider is unreadable imho). I integrated a simple guestbook I found at Etomite and I skinned the Unclassified Forum to fit the design. This forum is quite good, has all functions I expect from a forum. But as in the
other thread described, integration via include is obviously difficult. So for now this is an Iframe inclusion with flexible height for the Iframe even at clicking at forumlinks inside the Iframe that get higher than the initial load height.
Well, the next days I try to start the translation of the documentation (there are only few germans yet, but they are there and I hope they can help
). The whole stuff gets a bit more stylish with two forum last posts boxes->investigating ryan´s rounded boxes (when the forum-rss is okay from here, doesn´t work in a first try).
IE has driven me nuts, so I changed the second headline for it (h2), because there is a "please call mulder and scully" issue which put a space between the graphic and the left column. If anyone is interested, I´ll explain with screenshots or make an example.
Written enough, have to go to bed (it´s 8:12h a.m. over here)
