trying to get formit installed, but there is no instruction about WHERE to put the files - mentions something about a ’package manager’ but I can’t seem to find it in the admin or [as it seems to indicate] in the ’extras’ section of the website.....
is the package manager something you have to install as a plugin?

Are you using Revolution or Evolution?
If Revolution, System -> Package Management.
If Evolution, Package Management doesn’t exist for that, nor will it. FormIt is also Revolution only.
