When I try to edit my "Home" page resource and click save I am redirected to a page that says:

Sorry, we can’t find the page you are looking for. Try using one of the menu items above.

and the changes are not saved. Has anyone seen this problem before? I have tried not editing with just HTML as well as TinyMCE no problems. I am not having this problem on any of my other pages just the Home Page.

It sounds like something in that home page content (or one of the other fields) is triggering a security configuration on your server. http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/What_is_mod_security_and_how_does_it_affect_me

What version of MODx are you using? What is your server type? PHP version?

I would run a few tests to make sure that’s the problem first. Duplicate it, and see if you can save the duplicate. If not, start removing stuff from the duplicate and see if it saves with no template, with a different template (if your home page uses its own template), and with simple content like <p>Hello, world</p>. If you can save the duplicate with no problems, then you’ve got something else going on.

Well, I’ve finally figured out the issue.

The problem turned out to be the word "updates".

So after doing a complete re-install and going through the code for the 10th time I decided to take out word for word. There we go. It must be the security feature mentioned above. For the time being I just changed the word out.

            Thanks sottwell!
