Hello, I need to create packages to upload to iTunes. The package will contain: 1x XML metadata file, 1x Album artwork .JPG file & audio files ripped from a CD.
To achieve this we’ll need a form to input all the metadata like: album title, UPC (barcode), artis names, copyright, album artwork (jpg), etc.
I have the documentation for the ’iTunes Package Asset Specification’
- Create a form with simple text fields & dropdowns
- Upload .jpg & and validate it’s at least 600px x 600px
- Use jQuary to validate form fields
- Rip audio from a CD into FLAC, .aif or (Apple lossless) .mp4 - I’m guessing FLAC would be the easiest
- MD5 Checksum
- Export the .jpg, Audio & XML to a directory
