If anyone would be willing to get friendly URL’s with aliases working on my site, I can pay via paypal. Name your price.
I should be able to do it but I’m pretty busy and it’s trying my patience. I’m running MODx Evo 1.0.0. I can confirm that htaccess is being parsed. My goal is to be able to have the pages on my site look like "www.mysite.com/whateveraliasnameiwant". Simple right? I’d like to get this done ASAP, PM me with your price.

Do you have the Use Friendly URLs and Use Friendly Aliases System Settings set? Do all the docs have aliases?
Did you clear the site cache?
Are you viewing the site from another browser where you’re not logged into the Manager?

There’s really only one thing left to try.
pm me and paste the .htaccess file in the MODx root along with the name of the subdirectory your site it in.

The base URL, I bet, right Bob?
I'm learning more about MODx all the time and loving it.

Way more complicated. Site is in a subdirectory and there are two .htaccess files above it doing weird things. The OP had the path in both the rewrite base and rewrite rule lines and had a FURL prefix of "index.php?id=".
We fixed that, but it’s still redirecting all links to [site.com]/index.php and, for some reason, not finding it. We’re still working on it.

Ahhh. Have fun with that.
I should probably know this, but I always see it and never ask. What does "OP" mean?
