    You should install Firefox with Firebug and debug your page in Firebug. See attachment(some files are missing and you have a js error)

    You have some files missing and a javascript error. Also I don’t recommend using 2 jQuery files.

    <SCRIPT type=text/javascript src="js/jquery.min.js"></SCRIPT>
    +
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

    Also you don;t need
    $('.playVideo').click(function(event){
    				event.preventDefault();
    				var objectVideo = $(this).next('div.videoWrp').children();
    				var movieUrl = $(objectVideo).children('param[name=movie]').attr('value');
    				var embedUrl = $(objectVideo).children('embed').attr('src');
    				movieUrl = movieUrl + '&autoplay=1';
    				embedUrl = embedUrl + '&autoplay=1';
    				$(objectVideo).children('param[name=movie]').attr('value', movieUrl);
    				$(objectVideo).children('embed').attr('src', movieUrl);
    				$(this).remove();
    			});
    +

    var flashvars = {wmode: "transparent"};
    		var params = {wmode: "transparent"};
    		var attributes = {wmode: "transparent"};
    		swfobject.embedSWF("assets/img/CanadaMapSide.swf", "searchMapSideFlash", "250", "243", "9.0.0", "assets/img/expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

    +

    swfobject.embedSWF("assets/img/CanadaMapSide.swf", "searchMapSideFlash", "250", "243", "9.0.0", "assets/img/expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

    You only need this

    $.featureList( $("#sliderNav li"), $("#sliderItems li"));

    + the the ready call

    Also don’t use SCRIPT but script.

    There might be some other problems. Fix the above issues first

      When I remove the script content you mentioned the slider stops working. Odd, but it forwards to the end and does not cycle.

        I removed the last line which killed the error. And I no longer get the JavaScript errors as previously.

        Let me know if you have additional suggestions - your help is well appreciated.

          You still have a javascript error according to Firebug when you click the items on the home page

          I think you need to comment out this

          k_smoothscroll();

          in the custom.js file.

          Make sure this doesn’t break anything else

            Cipa: I really like your newslider--it’s quite slick. I think I’ve been able to determine the necessary js head scripts from your notes above, but can you give us the js call for the newslider that you make within your body tag? That’s not evident from your page source. Also, it would be a big help if you could post the necessary js and css along with the call so it’s all in one location for those of us who may have a tough time back engineering the code. Thanks for your help.

              It’s not really my code

              I took http://jqueryglobe.com/article/feature-list and modified it to my needs by adding a few lines of code.
              You can also download some examples.

              Also if you look through my code you can see I use it like

              $.featureList( $("#sliderNav li"), $("#sliderItems li"));

              and the html is a simple ul

              <ul id="sliderNav">
              <li>.....</li>
              ....
              </ul>

                Thanks, cipa, that’s what I needed.
