    Hi:

    I am very enthusiastic about modx as a solution for some clients that I have had on custom CMS platforms and Drupal. However, I have never considered myself to be a developer, and while ModX is relatively easy to set up, taking it past the basics is beyond my ability as a part-time webmaster.

    I would like to find someone who can do the following:

    - help me iron out any kinks in my existing deployments, including troubleshoot a problem I’ve got with image editing
    - assist me by either a) consulting on ways I can do things myself or b) doing them for me but explaining what you’ve done so I’m not completely in the dark, depending on the complexity of the task
    - let me send wireframes and other artifacts and turn them into working modx functionality

    Essentially I’m looking for someone who knows modx, has patience for non-programmers, and is interested in some casual part-time work for a little extra money. These projects are my sideline too, so I don’t want anyone who depends on up-to-the minute management from me.

    * anticipated start time
    ASAP - at least some of the troubleshooting
    * anticipated job duration
    Ongoing, but casual and depending on both our schedules. I would like someone who may be interested in eventually taking ownership of a couple of these properties as I ease myself out of frontline support for my clients.
    * budget constraints
    Some of this is out of my pocket, and some will come from my clients. As such, I don’t have gobs of money to spend. I would prefer to work on small functional units as billable projects, and see how far that gets. Any reasonable hourly rate is fair game.
    * payment terms
    This is negotiable. I am in Canada and can use paypal for payment.
    * scope of work
    Variable - sometimes just answering questions and recommending solutions. Sometimes taking a functional spec, estimating, and executing
    * IP ownership constraints (e.g., can the work be donated back to the community)
    I don’t want to own any of the IP. It belongs to the people who build this great stuff.

    thanks
