Can anyone help?

I have a temporary test page here as a static html page ... http://www.appliedvoip.com.au/spreadsheet.htm

I need to add this to a modx page as a snippet

It comes from http://code.google.com/p/php-excel-reader and works fine as a standalone feature but cannot get it working in modx as I don’t understand the functionlity of snippets.

There are 3 elements to this:

Above the head is <?php
error_reporting(E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE);
require_once ’excel_reader2.php’;
$data = new Spreadsheet_Excel_Reader("international.xls");
?>

In the body is <?php echo $data->dump(); ?>

This grabs the Excel data and displays it nicely on the page but I want to add it to modx

can anyone help - I’m willing to pay a small fee if someone can do this for me!

Thanks

Steve

Hello Steve,

This sounds like a pretty quick effort that I’d be glad to help you out with. I took a look at the project on Sourceforge and it looks like a nice script that I should have no problem getting working with a snippet pretty quickly.

With your permission, I can send you an email with more about me if you’d like some assurance that I know what I’m doing. I’m extremely flexible with payment since I’m a student looking for any work I can get and have the capacity for, and I could get this done for you ASAP.

Let me know if I can get in touch with you, and I’ll send an email to the address you have listed on your forum profile here.

Thanks!
I'm learning more about MODx all the time and loving it.

This is now resolved but please get in touch if you can offer occasional help with modx sites.
