Large City School System Multi Lingual Site

Hello

I am currently in the running for a Large city public school systems website. We are looking for assistance in two areas.

• 1st setting up a multilingual site
• 2nd creating a modx plugin for which would email a user x amount of days after certain content was published

* anticipated start time: TBD but would be in the next one to two months if we are awarded the contract.

* anticipated job duration: 2-3 weeks?
* budget constraints: TBD
* payment terms: we are flexible
* scope of work: TBD
* IP ownership constraints: All work would be property of the client.

If anyone has any general advice on how to do a multilingual site in modx or how to create a plugin that would notify users after x amount of days that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I have see the multilingual plugin but have not used it yet.

Again we are still in the bidding process but I wanted to get a general feel if anyone would be interested in this work.

We have implemented YAMS using Evo and we can certainly develop a plugin for automated email notification. I’d be happy to discuss this with you further. Please contact us at [email protected].

Hi

YAMS is good however I have a solution of making a multilingual site using another method: just creating a content folders for each Lang (using a module) because the site owner wanted to have different content for each lang

Also there could be written a simple php code integrated into snippet for example which will be called to check if there is a need to send a notice. This check also can be activated onPagePreRender

Hope this helps
