Howdy Folks
My situation is this. I want to pull out of the freelance market, but I’ve got a couple of modx projects on the go. I would like to find someone to hand these projects over to.
So I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I’ve looked at odesk and rentacoder, and looks like there are some capable people out there. I’ve had an incident a while ago where someone’s security was compromised, which showed up dozens of sites having to come down because of a virus (which can be very costly).
Anyway,if someone has any thoughts on this, I’d like to hear ’em

Initially I was just interested in people’s experience with this kind of stuff, as I haven’t had to do this before, but I do appreciate the offers I’ve been receiving.
At the moment I’m trying to figure out whether I’ll be transferring the projects at all.

My $0.02 is that I haven’t had great success with oDesk or RAC finding competent and reliable help. It’s just not worth the hassle if you think you’re going to save money finding someone for $8/h. In the future, I’ll be looking for help here in the MODx forums.
