I’m the owner of a small electronic music website based on MODx called Knowledge, check it out at
www.kmag.co.uk
I want to introduce a new section to the site where you can browse listings for events happening worldwide. You’d also be able to buy tickets for events, browse venues and upload photos to a gallery once an event has taken place.
Here’s an example of a site that has an events section to give you an idea of what I’m after:
www.residentadvisor.net/local.aspx
The content (listings) would be generated by the user (in this case the promoter of the event). So they would need to register and fill in a form to list their event.
I’d also like members to be able to interact and state whether they’d be attending or comment about it. We already have a members page so a calendar would need to be added to that.
Eventually I’d like it to work with an iPhone app but I want this built first.
Please respond with an estimate of time and cost or if you need more info.
Thanks
Colin
