    Hi,

I would like to develop an inventory system which will be accessible to selected groups or web users. The Inventory page will simply display a structured list of resources using ditto with a new snippet to allow inline data editing for selected TVs.

I am looking for a flexible snippet which can be reused should the need arise.

    The snippet should feature:
    1. Config to allow the selection of TVs for inline editing
    2. Option to publish or unpublish selected listed resources, with Gray out of unpublished
    3. Filter to allow the user to sort resource items by column (up and down)
    4. We could possibly use eForm2DB if considered suitable

I will be looking to start this project immediately should a suitable developer be found. I would imagine this project would take up-to one day to complete, however do let me if you feel this is an underestimate.

I will also undoubtedly require additional MODx snippets in the near future so would be keen to receive posts from keen MODx PHP/MySQL Snippet/Plug-in developers.

    Many thanks,

    Martin

PS. We will also be looking to develop an extensive shopping mall community website within the next 6 to 7 months and as such I would be keen to extend the script still further at this point. So the Snippet needs to be flexible, while resolving our immediate issue. If you love working with MODx as much as I do pop me an email or message smiley

Thanks for the feedback, after receiving many emails and comments I thought I would update this thread with an image indicating my envisioned list format.

I would ideally like to show this list within the website front-end, accessible to only selected user group/s. The fields would be normal MODx TVs with access enabling live editing set using the standard MODx permission system.

I hope this helps, many thanks.

          Hi,

is all columns per each line just a TV besides a product title?

Also, product title is a title of a page, isn’t it?

This seems to be a back end module, right?

Yes they are all normal MODx TVs.

            Yes

This module/snippet should be display within the front end website, accessible to selected user groups. However a similar tool for the manager would also be useful and considered depending on costs.
