Need Developer to implement MODX site with video gallery $200USD

Need to implement a PSD website into a MODX. The site has video and photo gallery. Need to be able to upload the video and photo in FLV in admin.

-anticipated start time: ASAP
-anticipated job duration: 14 days
-budget constraints: $200 USD
-payment terms: Flexible - small deposit and pay as features are implemented
-scope of work: See below
-IP ownership constraints: IP belong to me


Scope of work:
-In front page show the latest 4 albums
-Video page to show and select videos to watch
-Photo page to show and select photos to watch
-Able to have 2 sets of albums, one for guests and one for paying memebers
-Able to add detail to videos and photos such as Title, Subtitle, Descrtiption, Date
-Able to set "publish date" for content to go live
-Automatically create watermark to photos
-Search feature

You will be provided with:
-All PSD files
-Formal documentation for site

-anticipated job duration: 14 days
-budget constraints: $200 USD

I know our rates aren’t that cheap, but $14 a day is really quite optimistic

No reason what you are asking for needs to take 14 days - it could be done in a few - but it would cost more than $200 to do properly.

Heh, just what I was thinking!

As Ramsay says it won’t take 14 days, but for a professional job it’s going to cost more than that.

i was very surprised by that estimation too

Haha, I don’t expect someone to work 14 days straight on it.

What do you think would be a fair price? Seems simple to me but of course I’m not the one coding it.

In my experience, the industry average for ’professional’ website design is around $50/hr, programming is around $100/hr (USD)

Even getting the PSD files to proper XHTML/CSS would be at least $250USD alone, using one of the many PSD to HTML services, if not more depending on how many templates need to be created. I assumed the $200 was missing a 0.
