My development team taught me how to add webpages so that I can control the blog on my site. Now I would like to add an image to a specific blog. I noticed that if it is on a url I can put that in however it is not sitting on a url anywhere. I have the jpg file, or tiff. I have looked through the community and haven’t been able to find an entry for this process. I am hopeful that someone can help...it really is a nice picture

If you are using TinyMCE as your editor, you should be able to click the button with a tree on it in the toolbar for Insert Image; then click the Browse button to the right of the image URL slot, which should bring up the Images folder. (If not, your developers may need to adjust some settings in the MODx configuration).

At the bottom of the folder, there’s an entry field and Browse button, clicking on either should open up a view of the files on your computer, which you can transfer to the Images folder using the Upload button. Then you can click on the image in the folder to put its URL into the TinyMCE dialog box. Remember to add a description and to set the placement (Alignment Left or Right) on the Appearance tab.
