I am looking for someone who can port a number of designs a la woothemes, or themeforest to modx.
In this JV we would make ready made modx templates, incorporating what is needed so beginners can get a jumpstart with ready made, good looking and perfect performing (cause under the hood they are Modx) sites.
I am not a developer, my skills are selling on the web.
My skills are also in the area of thinking up functionality that works to get things done with modx, be it seo wise (in my mother country I have a modx site that has been on the number one position of google for around 15 pretty competitive keyword phrases) I have learned how to organise content so google will love your modx site even more.
I am currently working on improving conversion on all pages using teh powers of design. And here I need help.
I am the owner of modxmember.com a site that just shows a basic concept that needs more work. I have not time for this cause I am busy improving conversion on my sales modx-driven sites.
Modxmember.com could become the membership site for developed themes, but it could go much further...
Wordpress is used all over the place by people who want to make adsense sites. I am not interested in adsense, I am interested in making sites that are found the best, give the best visitor experience and get the best conversion for the site owner.
In my opinion modx is foundational for sitebuilding.
I build on the modx foundation with Blueprint css, cause that allows me to piggyback ride on proper css for all browsers.
I am looking for someone who would like to consider a JV for a site that aims to get lots of current wordpress users on board of modx with easy, but superb modx templates and much more.
So if you are good at porting other designs to modx, and good at writing modx snippets and plugins, please reply.
Thanks
Oliver
Hi OlivierF,
Your post sounds very interesting, I would be delighted to help
Do you have a budget per template? Would files be provided as HTML/CSS and just require convention into MODx templates or would you need someone to work from Photoshop/Fireworks files?
In terms of JV (Joint Venture) what type of percentage of template sale value would you provide for design and build?
Please tell me more....
Hi SandersDesign,
Thanks for your reply, please check your PM.
