    I have zero skills with editing snippets. The chief parameter of JWPlayer is
    &src=`myvideo.flv`

    Because of the way the snippet is set up, it loads only local files. I need it to load video files from Amazon S3.

    Currently, as far as I can tell, this line needs to be edited to refer to my S3 bucket:
    $file = $modx->config['site_url'] . $src;

    Since this is basically editing just one line of code, I’m going to limit this to $50.00. Is maybe 30 minutes of work for $50.00 fair? Maybe it will take you just 2 minutes, I don’t care. All I do care about is that this is done today. Right now. Yesterday. Pick your era as long as it’s a past era.

    Send me a PM please. Or if BobRay is lurking with the solution, please let me donate to you the $50.00

      Have you tried changing =>
      &src=`myvideo.flv`

      to
      &src=`http://somewhere.com/myvideo.flv`

      and
      $file = $modx->config['site_url'] . $src;

      to
      $file = $src;

      Haven’t tested but might be worth a try wink

        Yes, that worked fine. Thanks for that because now I see that my other video embed solution plays flawlessly. Even though it uses JWPlayer, it is plain as day that it the video playback is flawless compared to JWPlayer.

        Any ideas why that is? Asking because I see you use highslide. I’m trying to use one Ditto call to grab PDFs and display the info and download link in highslide. But I guess I’m going to have to use two calls: one for the jQuery method which loads and autoplays the movie flawlessly, and one for highslide display of downloadable PDFs.

        Care to share you two cents?
