I would be interested in estimates for the cost of integrating search results from a Zen Cart installation with those from one of the modx search snippets. AjaxSearch seems to approach this functionality, but that wouldn’t have to be the starting point. One aspect we’re interested in which has bearing in light of AjaxSearch’s current functionality is that we be able to have the Zen Cart tables in a different database.
For my intended use I would be willing to consider a solution which segregates the Zen Cart search results from those of modx, a solution which presents the full set of results without any distinction for the user would be preferable.
Any code or configurations that might be developed would need to be offered to the community either as a contributed extra or in these forums.
Hi Mark,
Could you send me by PM your email to discuss of this request. Thanks.
I’ve answered a few questions for coroico, I would be glad to discuss this project with anyone else in private or in this thread.
