I am willing to toss a bounty the way of anyone who can create me a basic template based on my existing site, cmscritic.com.
anticipated start time: immediate
anticipated job duration: whatever is needed
budget constraints: max $100
payment terms: paypal
I do not require the same layout as the home page (as far as the various categories and such) but rather just an open content area (if that makes sense). The easiest way to explain would be to go to cmscritic.com and look at the cms list.. and based the template after that look.
Thanks

Are you really just looking for a MODx Template limited to managing one page of content, or are you looking for someone to also provide everything around it to be managed in the context of an entire dynamic site build? (e.g. your ad manager on the right, contact form, comments, your comments feed etc etc?)
The site will be moved over to modx. Instead of having everything broken up by category like we do now on the front page, i’d rather it was one listing of posts with pagination at the bottom (which I know can all be done quite easily.. therefore it should be quite easy to port the template.
Hello cmscritic,
I would like to help; I’ve visited your before many times and enjoy its content.
Its nice to see your considering MODx, what made you consider the migration? We used eZ Publish before moving our developments to MODx and have been very pleased with decision.
I would propose that we could either convert your existing template to use MODx, or help progress the site even further by developing a new design and building the site from scratch.
Please feel free to have a look around my portfolio (
www.sandersdesign.com) and let me know if I can be of service.
Best regards,
Martin
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply, I’ve never tried converting a Wordpress theme into MODx, however I will have a look at your website source and see what’s required.
MODx templates are quite easy to code, however your wp theme may be alittle harder to de-construct.
It may be easier to build from fresh.
What features will you be requiring within your MODx site? (outside of the default).
Cheers,
Martin
