This is for a site implementing PayPal Website Payments Standard which I need to integrate tightly within MODx via, i believe at this juncture, PayPal’s IPN to track things.
Requirements:
• User buys product which is a subscription for 3 payments
• When payment is authorised the following should happen:
o User automatically set up with a ‘Member’ account with the MODx site using the details input during the purchase process. This notifies the user of relevant Member account details etc via an automated email to address input during payment process
o User is sent to an acknowledgement page
• User can then log into the ‘Members’ area (I’ve already got some user accounts/doc groups set up so the initial framework is in place)
Any takers? feel free to recommend anything you think would be a more elegant solution, but product subscription is a must, which has lead me to paypal. It’s a long story, but Foxycart poss isn’t working for this in the Uk right now (unless you can correct me there!)
