Job Description - Web Developer
Your Role:
You bring an intelligent, problem-solving, creative approach to building sites and features efficiently, cleanly, and professionally. You work collaboratively with Project Management and Creative team members to come up with the best functionality possible, while maintaining ownership throughout the development and testing process.
Your Assets:
You are someone that not only has technical skills but also the ability to see features and user interfaces through the eyes of a user. Your perspective will help identify design issues and offer solutions during the development cycle. You have 4+ years working in web development using HTML, ModX, PHP and JavaScript. You are proficient at identifying and solving cross-browser compatibility issues, and capable of “stepping through” code and understanding functions. Your have experience or the ability to work with other programmers’ code for maintenance and upgrade purposes.
Your Skills & Experience:
You create functional sites from design concepts that are cross-browser, standards compatible and meet technical requirements. You can update copy, graphics, and functionality within existing sites. You will stay abreast of upcoming browsers, agents and standards in order to educate team members. In your role, you are proactive, an effective communicator either with co-worker or client, who is detail-oriented and can deliver on time. You prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines.
