I currently have a moderately large vbulletin forum community.

I am taking the next step and developing a CMS/forum site that will have original articles, photo galleries, blogs, advertising, etc.

I am still in the process of deciding which CMS system to use and ModX seems to have quickly developed a passionate following.

I’d like to integrate ModX and Vbulletin and share as much data as possible.

I also need to be able to have people like writers, bloggers and photographers be able to log in and add their content, edit, etc with general ease.

Would this be possible with ModX?

I’m sure there are other variables to consider so please dont hesitate to mention them. I’m looking to get moving on this project fairly soon and will pay for experienced, professional service.

    Thanks.

You’d need to describe in more detail what specifically you mean by:

to integrate ModX and Vbulletin and share as much data as possible

Since this is an existing community, I’d assume you’d want your existing vBulletin user system to effectively replace any MODx authentication. What other things would need to be done?

have people like writers, bloggers and photographers be able to log in and add their content, edit, etc with general ease

How are these identified today—groups set up in vBulletin by chance? Do you want them to enter/edit content from the front end or the back end of the site, the front end piece being more complex?
