Hello programmers,
I’m setting up a new web based enterprise but have limited programming skill so I’m looking for someone to help me construct to code behind my designs & processes. Functionality can start off highly limited and then progress to something ball-bouncingly awesome depending on the success (or otherwise) of the project as a whole. I am not a wealthy entrepreneur or any other kind of wealthy individual but I believe that this idea has the potential to make me one so to that end I’m willing to stump up for the initial work. However if there is a programmer out there who was willing to take it on as a hobby over a longer period or for a % of the business I would be happy to do that too.
Please note: You will be required to sign an NDA before I’m willing to give out the full scope and designs.
Brief er... brief:
Essentially an online community with a few twists. Will require; forum, news, user page/dashboard, submission interface and a library of submissions to start with. A key feature will be a well designed DB as the information from it will need to be quickly and easily available across the site. I am, by trade, a digital usability and development consultant so can promise you a very detailed page by page wireframe and process tree.

* Anticipated start time - Whenever we can come to an agreement
* Anticipated job duration - Ultimately this could net you a full time job as the technical director of an internet business or it could just occupy you for a few months worth of evenings
* Budget constraints - I can’t pay through the nose but I tend to live by the axiom; "Pay peanuts, get monkeys". I’m rather hoping you will give me a quote though.
* Payment terms - I’ll discuss the idea with you, you decide how you want to be paid, I will give you a list of formal requirements, you complete them to stipulation, you get paid what we agreed.
* Scope of work - This is really dependant on cost, the scope will initially at least be extremely narrow, basically turning my pictures into code. The entire site will have between 2 & 4 pages that couldn’t be constructed in static HTML and about 10-15 pages in total.
* IP ownership constraints (e.g., can the work be donated back to the community) - I’d be happy to put any new bits of code out into the public domain as long as it didn’t immediately allow a bunch of people to copy the business idea without putting in any effort.
