I need to import mysql data to Modx and would like to check the viability of this and then /if viable/ do it!
Basically it’s a set of venue information in separate columns such as:
Venue name
Logo name (name-of-venue.jpg)
Venue address
Venue features
Venue offer
etc
The way I’m thinking is to create a document for each venue on Modx and set up the TV’s (venue name, insert logo, venue address, etc) > Then import the data to Modx and populate each TV per venue that way.
- or it might be more viable to create the venues and populate the TV’s on the fly direct from the import?
If you have the experience to do this - please get in contact (post here or message me) and we can discuss costs. I can pay by Paypal & Moneybookers etc. Need to proceed with this asap.
Thanks,
Al
