Okay, its not super urgent. But it is urgent. I have someone that it seems is flaking on me, plus, I really want this project done in MODx so that it will actually work right, and most of the app will be pre-built using the CMF! I’m going to keep this generalized, but if you have questions, please ask. The design itself is already done, with HTML and CSS, but I’ll need to port it to MODx. Also, I’ll need to write additional styles for some pages, but I’ll take care of that.

This is NOT eCommerce. This is a display of inventory only.

When people visit the site, they will click an ’inventory’ button, which will expand to show the types of inventory. After clicking on each type of inventory, people will have a choice of colors to browse through. Each color category will have a photo, and all the links/items within that category. Within each type of stock, within each color category, there will be different examples of actual inventory in stock. These will need to open using lytebox (I’ll take care of styling and all that, you just need to set it so that each item shows up with a ’rel’ tag.) Wayfinder will work really well for the sidebar menu, and I could hardcode Wayfinder to allow people to get to the individual pages, but there are additional things that I need for my client to be able to do.

By the way, I have a longer spec sheet offline, but I wanted to give an idea of what is entailed. Time frame can be flexible. I’d like this done in a week, but I know its not realistic, so if you let me know how long it will take, and can actually pull it off in that amount of time, we’ll have a deal.

    Functionality needed:
Client needs to update and edit stock.
Stock will be sorted by type, and then by color.
Stock has multiple names, so a search feature will need to be integrated, which should be searching through the alternate names only and returning possible matches.
Client should be able to upload photos, which will be automatically compressed and have a thumbnail automatically generated.
If Client makes inventory of a particular item number 0, it should show up as out of stock or not show up at all.

I need this to be as easy as possible for my client to use, so I don’t even know that I want to send my client into the MODx Manager. If it is easier or cheaper to do this, than we can certainly discuss it.

I am probably missing some stuff. Ask questions in the topic, and I will answer for all to see.

My real budget for this is $300-$600, but if necessary I can go over budget. I NEED to get this project done ASAP.

    Thanks!

By the way, if I like your work, there is potential for future projects.
