We are looking to have a module or snippet developed that allows for easy client management of a publicly displayed membership listing. As far as budget, this is an internal project that can be applied to multiple customers, but is not being developed for a specific customer at this time. We have never paid for any MODx development(s) and would like to be able to asses the cost as a determinant to moving forward with the development.

The attached document outlines our needs.

    • anticipated start time: when convenient
    • anticipated job duration: development of a snippet or module encompassing the attached doc
    • budget constraints: as stated above
    • payment terms: half up front/half at delivery
    • scope of work: see attachment
    • IP ownership constraints: we will be more than willing to donate back to the community, especially if it helps with the pricing

Have you looked at WebLoginPE? If I’m understanding your description correctly, it’s designed to do exactly what you’ve described.

          Greg,
WebloginPE with some customisation should meet your main goals.
I’ve used it on a couple of sites with some extra coding, adding more fields to the web user attributes table etc.
It’s pretty template driven for output and has lots of functionality built in.
I think it would have to be the starting point for your project, no point in re-inventing the wheel. wink

            Thanks, I agree.

We have made some attempts with other snippets, but had hit a wall with this. I had made a couple other posts, but I don’t think I ever explained my requirements as well as this time. I have already installed WebLoginPE in our sandbox. I wish every snippet were this well documented. Hopefully i will get to spend the weekend looking this over.
