Hi, I’ve got a site built that is looking great in IE 6 and IE 7,
about 90% perfect in Safari and Chrome, and really bad in Firefox.

This project is to do whatever is needed to make the site render properly in Firefox and Safari.

    Firefox issues are:
    - two sidebars are showing beneath the center column instead of in the proper place
    - images / links are showing with borders and should have no borders
    - horizontal inline lists are not displaying properly (nav bar, and, category page)
    - horizontal inline lists should have no bullets
    - links should be following style as viewable on IE7

Firefox seems to be ignoring most if not all of the CSS that is in place.

Safari/Chrome issues all have to do with the front page text styling and again image/link borders.
Again use the IE7 rendering as an example of what it should be looking like.

    Anticipated start time: Immediate
    Anticipated job duration: Until completed
Budget constraints: Flat rate will be considered; hourly rate also considered; will consider pre-payment if discounted
Payment terms: You will need to invoice the client directly.

Let me know if you’re interested and PM me with:

    - your flat rate price, or your estimated # of hours and hourly rate
    - time you anticipate to complete it
    - your payment terms
    - your email and/or phone so the client can get in touch with you directly

Let me know if you’d like to log in and take a look at the setup.

    Thanks!

I’d be more than happy to take your money  grin but Mozilla is not parsing css.php as text/css as is it should be. It is not that your CSS is wrong but your headers are likely the problem. I cannot see the css.php ouput in Firebug. When I request the file directly it is being output as text/html. If you are using a file in MODx to do this with you need to change the type to text/css.

There also appears to be a paragraph element in the top and bottom of the file. It looks to me that you copied and pasted this into a document with your RTE editor on. This should actually cause problems in all browsers not just mozilla.

      Cheers,

      Jay

        Amazing. Thanks!

I remember resetting that type to CSS but now I recall moving things around, after that.

That was a very cool 5-second fix. smiley
